
Soution :
You’ll need to replace the file. Make sure you’ve got your Windows Setup CD with you.
1.Insert the Windows Setup CD/DVD.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Boot into the CD/DVD.
4. Enter into Recovery Console (for XP, press R when prompted while at the Setup Screen)
5. When Command Prompt opens, type in the following :
Attrib -H -R -S C:\Boot.ini
Del C:\Boot.ini
BootCfg /Rebuild
Fixboot
You should be able to start your PC now.

Reason :
The NTLDR (Windows Loader File) somehow got deleted or corrupted.
Soution :
You’ll need to replace the file. Make sure you’ve got your Windows Setup CD with you.
1.Insert the Windows Setup CD/DVD.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Boot into the CD/DVD.
4. Enter into Recovery Console (for XP, press R when prompted while at the Setup Screen)
5. When Command Prompt opens, type in the following :
copy c:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy c:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
If your Windows is installed in another drive, replace C with that drives name.
Reason :
It happens if there is a registry change in the Userinit value.
Solution :
1. Start > Run > Type “regedit”
2. Now navigate to the following key:-
HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3. Look down the list in the Right Hand pane,scroll down to the value Userinit This value should read: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe, (The comma at the end must also be there)
4. If the value is different from that mentioned above then Right Click on the Userinit value and, from the drop down menu, select Modify. Type in the value C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe, in the Modify dialogue box click OK.
5. Exit the Registry. Restart your computer.

Creates a startup entry to start upon system start and
Creates its own exe files in Shared Documents folder which appear like ordinary folders.
Disables Folder Options

Task Manager being disabled is another method used by most Worms/Spywares to obstruct the User from looking at what Tasks are running and stops the User from identifying unknown Tasks running in the background.
To Enable Task Manager :
There are basically 2 ways to do this :
EASY WAY :
Using a Script. Just download the file below and run it.
Download : EnableTaskManager
HARD WAY :
Manually Editing Registry Entries :
a. Go to Start > Run > Type “regedit” (without quotes)
b. Find the follow Registry Locations. Open them one at a time.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
HKEY_USERS\.default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
c. In each of the above Locations find a DWORD titled “DisableTaskMgr“. Select it and delete it from all the locations.
d. Thats it. Your Task Manager should be Enabled now.
Folder Options being disabled is the most common problem faced by users. The most common reason for this being disabled is either some Virus or Worm. So its highly recommended that your run a thorough Scan using a AntiVirus.
Even if after scanning your System you find your Folder Options being disabled. Then just download the following File and run it. You should get your Folder Options up and running again.
