Filenames or Foldernames are hidden in Thumnail view in Windows Vista when you press Shift+Ctrl and change the View Type.

Do the following :

Keep holding Shift + Ctrl and click on View and change views multiple times. You should get back your Foldernames.

Even if that didn’t work for you. Perform a Scan of the Drive wherein this anomaly occurs. To do that goto My Computer > Right Click on the Drive > Properties > Tools > Check now. Restart your System.

Windows 7 has finally been released for Consumers. As with every Windows there are 2 versions of Windows 7 namely 32Bit and 64Bit.

Most people are skeptical about switching over the the x64 version and I too am of the opinion that the market is just not ready for 64-Bit.

The most biggest advantage of x64 architecture was that it supported more than 4Gb of Physical Memory.

But now this limitation can be circumvented and a Patch is available which allows you to use more than 4Gb of RAM in the 32Bit version of Windows 7.

This Patch Supports the RTM build of Windows 7 – 7600 so it should support the Final version which is out now. It’s been created by a Russian Group which explains the Non-English language.

As seen from the above image, the Tabs size is too small.

Soluton :

Follow these steps :

1. Open registry editor. Start > Run > Type “regedit”

2. Navigate to the following key : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

3. Now on the Right hand side you’ll see a String value called “MinWidth”.

4. Now you can either Delete that String or just Modify its value to say 180.
