Problem:

Cannot find copy.exe. Make sure you have typed the name correctly and then try again.

Solution :

This Problem is caused due to a Virus which Modifies your Autorun.inf file.

The best solution is to Cleanup your PC using Microsoft Security Essentials.

Download it from : http://www.microsoft.com/Security_essentials/

Alternatively you can also remove it using this free tool : Smart Virus Removal

Soution :

You’ll need to replace the file. Make sure you’ve got your Windows Setup CD with you.

1.Insert the Windows Setup CD/DVD.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Boot into the CD/DVD.
4. Enter into Recovery Console (for XP, press R when prompted while at the Setup Screen)
5. When Command Prompt opens, type in the following :

Attrib -H -R -S C:\Boot.ini
Del C:\Boot.ini
BootCfg /Rebuild
Fixboot

You should be able to start your PC now.
