Reason :

The NTLDR (Windows Loader File) somehow got deleted or corrupted.

Soution :

You’ll need to replace the file. Make sure you’ve got your Windows Setup CD with you.

1.Insert the Windows Setup CD/DVD.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Boot into the CD/DVD.
4. Enter into Recovery Console (for XP, press R when prompted while at the Setup Screen)
5. When Command Prompt opens, type in the following :

copy c:\i386\ntldr c:\
copy c:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\

If your Windows is installed in another drive, replace C with that drives name.
